ATLAS is an acrostic which stands for Attaining Truth Love And Self-Control. The name arose from the thought of an ATLAS road map. On the road of life we all, at some point, fall into a pothole. Many of us work hard at getting back on the road but need help, so we extend a hand up hoping someone will grab hold. Most of us have an infrastructure of relationships that extend that helping hand. But many don’t. ATLAS was started to extend a hand of faith and love to those needing it. If you are curious about what the basics are, follow this link to read more about the ATLAS process.
Redeemed Remnants is a thrift store with a purpose. It exists to meet needs in Rock County and the surrounding area by providing volunteer opportunities for anyone who wishes to help others. Volunteering at the store is a great way to meet new people, give back to the community and have fun! Donations of gently-used clothing, housewares and furniture are welcomed and appreciated. Please visit the Redeemed Remnants Facebook page to learn more.
The vision for The Loft apartments was born out of seeing a need for immediate crisis housing in Rock County. The apartments consist of two short-term living housing units designed for an individual or a family who find themselves in a difficult life situation. Guests who stay at The Loft are required to be in a mentoring relationship with ATLAS through the duration of their stay. Classes, counseling, and attending other programs may be part of the guest’s personal development plan.
Matthew 6 Outreach Ministry is focused on assisting Rock County residents who have been diagnosed with a life-threatening medical condition. Individuals requesting assistance must live in Rock County and go through an application process to be considered as a recipient.
